same shop, new name!

Hi Everyone!

It's been a little while since I wrote a blog, but this one has some big news! 

When I started amberhoney back in lockdown, I wanted to build a homeware brand, and made lots of things to sell alongside my candles, such as macramé, cement ware, cushions, art prints etc. 

However I have been blown away by the growth of my business since I opened my shop in July 2022! It's gone from strength to strength, thanks to all of my lovely supporters and customers to become a homeware and gift store that now stocks a growing number of lovely brands. 

Because of this, I have decided to separate a few of my products into different businesses, and to separate my candles/melts from the name of the store. 

Don't worry, amberhoney is still very much alive, but will now only sell candles/melts/home fragrance, and the shop will become leocadia. 

I chose the name leocadia as it means "splendid brightness" which is what I feel the products I sell bring! I carefully choose the brands I bring into the store to make sure they match the aesthetic and produce lovely things to "brighten" your day. 

Leocadia will also become more than just a shop front. As always I have big plans lined up, but I want leocadia to become a gifting and lifestyle brand, so I will be stocking beautiful products that make lovely gifts or treats for yourself, with a focus on brands based in the U.K. As a lifestyle brand, we will also be hosting workshops, music events and so much more to make Leocadia a more interactive brand.
